Virginia Beach Engagement Photos – First Landing – Cristina & Wes
After a few reschedules, we finally had our date to do Cristina & Wes’ First Landing engagement photos. Guess what happened? A monsoon. Not joking. Torrential rain came out of nowhere! I remember looking at my weather app once I parked and it said 0% chance of precipitation. Meanwhile, my windshield wipers couldn’t even keep up with the amount of rain falling. Gotta love technology right?!?! I sat in my parking space and the panic started to set in. We had already rescheduled a few times, I really wanted to make this session happen!
I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. This summer storm was no exception. Once the clouds parted and the thunder, lightning & rain stopped….the beach was completely empty. Perfect! We started their engagement photos at the oceanfront. The skies had opened up and that light was amazing! As we hopped in the cars to go over to First Landing State Park, that’s when I noticed it. Wes walked around the car to open the door for Cristina. I smiled to myself, realizing how rare this is anymore. These two had been all cuddled up on the beach for some time now, being all adorable, AND he opens car doors!?!? You’ve got a winner Cristina! =] When we got to First Landing, they changed into their second outfit, and he opened the door again! It just kinda got me every single time. I seriously cannot wait for their fall wedding in October!
