This is one of my most fun sessions to date. Amy & Will had me laughing the WHOLE time. Will is such a character, and it made for a great session. Literally, the first pictures I snapped were of him doing his most romantic pose. This post starts with a blooper. Which I kinda love. Amy is much more reserved, and a TOTAL bombshell. Seriously, her legs go on for miles and she has the prettiest blue eyes ever. The fact that she’s a total sweetheart is just the icing on the cake. These two compliment each other SO well, and I absolutely cannot wait for their October wedding. Will is trying very hard to have a barrel of whiskey there, should be a pretty interesting day if that happens. First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach definitely did NOT fail us. Since that is where I did a lot of sessions when I first started, it holds a special place in my heart. Yet every time I go, I find somewhere new to shoot, or a new angle. This was my first time shooting First Landing State Park engagement photos, and I’d say it went pretty well! We did have to battle an army of bugs (that we couldn’t even SEE!), but that golden light was totally worth it.

At this point, some of their friends met up with us on the trail. Lets just say they had a cheering audience for this one. Might have to plan that out for every session!
