Norfolk Virginia Wedding – Ocean View Golf Course – Amy & Will

Ohhh what a weekend this was. Hurricane Joaquin decided to wreak havoc on the East Coast the week of Amy & Will‘s wedding. Having to change venues just DAYS before the big day, everyone kicked it into high gear. With help from friends and family, they turned their venue upside down and truly made this Norfolk Virginia Wedding their own. The rain held off for us, and although the wind was a little crazy, we got a few minutes of glowy sunshine handed to us!

When I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn to Amy and the girls, you would have never known the chaos that happened the week before. The mimosas were flowing, the music was blasting, and the pampering was in full swing! We made our way to the Ocean View Golf Course where we took advantage of the sun and we let that GORGEOUS cathedral veil just go crazy in the wind. The ceremony was perfect, and the reception did NOT stop going full speed all night! I’m pretty sure Will unleashed some moves people had never seen before. This crowd knows how to party! Amy & Will thank you for letting me be a part of your day and showing me that among all kinds of chaos, everything can end up perfect. Your day was full of love, silliness and at some points I thought the amount of energy from that reception was going to tear the place down! Congratulations to you both! If Jamaica was HALF the fun of your wedding day, I know you had a great time!
