It is so important to do something that is fun and different every once in a while. Nina’s sunrise yoga session had me doing just that. You may recognize Nina from her session with her husband (if not, click here!) They have since moved back home, but we decided it would be really cool to do a session like this before they left. Take a little heart of the beach home with her. Nina has been practicing yoga for sometime now, and has completed her hours for teaching. She actually got me started on yoga, and now it’s my thing to do on Monday nights! This session was completely different from anything I’d ever done before. For one, I only know maybe 5 poses. So Nina was free to basically do anything. Stepping out of my comfort zone of “nuzzle here,” “now turn and walk,” “hold hands” was a little scary. But I am so glad I did it! This was such a fun session and I love how I got to just play around with the light. It was really fun to get up and hurry down to Sandbridge before the sun rose. We have already made plans to do this again when she visits, and can do new poses =] I’ll take all the Sandbridge sunrise photos I can get!
be silly. be honest. be kind.
The first thing I thought was, she makes it look so EASY!!! I KNOW how difficult some of those poses are to master. Beautiful!
She definitely does make it look easy! The sand proved to make things a little difficult. But you would never know it looking at these!
I have a yoga shoot on the beach coming up and I am even more excited now!!! These are gorgeous. Thank you for the inspiration 🙂
This was a LOT of fun! I hope yours goes well =]
WOW they are amazing. I wish I could do yoga and sunrises sessions for that matter they light is just wowsers
I find it’s hard to get clients to sign up for sunrise sessions. But hopefully this changes some minds! That light is SO perfect!
This just makes me want to live near the beach so I can do yoga all day.
I have never not lived near a beach. BUT I don’t do yoga everyday =[ This definitely inspired me to get up and enjoy more sunrises!
This reminds me that I desperately need to get active again! Love these. <3
Me too! I run and I always say I’m going to get up and go run at this location during sunrise and never do. But every time I look at this, it makes me realize all over again that I need to!
Love this! What a fun shoot!
It was fun! Definitely different =]
These look so serene and peaceful. And WOW she’s strong!
YES! She is! =]
How fun! I wish I had a beach near me. 😉
Our beaches are not the best, but I will gladly take them!
Pretty! The light is amazing 🙂
Thank you! =]
Oh my word! What a wonderful series of photos — what a grand idea — what a great set of memories!
I think I need to become a morning person, at least once a week. 😉
That’s a good idea. I can be a morning person once a week!!!
She really does make it look so easy, and graceful! Love the light too…incredible!
She did amazing =]
What a fun session! The golden light is amazing. All of the photos are awesome, I wish I had her strength! And I wish I lived near a beach, so jealous!
She did teach me that anyone can do it. Get out there are start practicing yoga!
