I don’t even know where to start with Katie & Michael.  I am such a believer that when you “know” you just know. Well when Michael saw Katie walking to her apartment (that is above his mom’s house), he asked her if she needed anything in the apartment fixed, or if she wanted to get a beer. According to Katie, Michael doesn’t know how to use a hammer AND he doesn’t drink. I’m telling you, he knew. After a late night chat, Katie knew too. I have known Katie since middle school and I knew Michael in high school. These two couldn’t be more perfect together. They are so silly and laid back. I absolutely cannot WAIT to shoot their wedding in June (right around the corner!) Their engagement session turned into an engagement day. I just couldn’t help myself. It was a gorgeous sunny day (this ginger got burned…of course), and the sunset was gorgeous. We started off that morning at the Norfolk Botanical Garden and ended the day at Back Bay in Virginia Beach. Complete with sunset/jump shots. You’ll see at the end!

I thought these bugs looked kinda romantic….Micheal informed us that they are termites. I still like them!




















These two had SO many bloopers, which I love. You can’t tell me we didn’t have fun that day.
