When Vernon was in the military, we learned very quickly that we would meet awesome people and then either we would move away, or they would. It was a harsh reality that we had to face pretty early on….which isn’t fun when you’re already 1000 miles away from home. Vernon has been out of the Air Force for 4 years now and we thought that was all behind us….man were we wrong. Tay served in the Marines for the past 10 years, and they have finally gone home! Today is also their 7th wedding anniversary, so they have a LOT to celebrate! We have been friends with Nina & Tay for a while now and it’s crazy how it felt like we’d known them forever. Tay is a Cowboys fan with a smart mouth, so obviously him and Vernon hit it off instantly. Nina and I bonded with beer, The Bobby Bones show, line dancing & she introduced me to yoga (getting more and more obsessed by the minute). I have been holding onto these photos for longer than I’d like, in order to keep their surprise a secret. They decided to surprise their families by coming home last week, for a “visit.” Except the visit is forever! As excited as I am for them to be back home, we will miss them dearly! I’m so glad we were able to get together and do this session so that they have a piece of Virginia with them. We went out to Back Bay (hello…gorgeous!) and had the most perfect evening to get in some Virginia Beach couples photos!
be silly. be honest. be kind.
So pretty! I love the playful ones!
I also loved the fun, playful ones so much!! So cute.
They are so cute! Beautiful photos too!
[…] session had me doing just that. You may recognize Nina from her session with her husband (if not, click here!) They have since moved back home, but we decided it would be really cool to do a session like this […]
