Woman’s Club of Portsmouth Wedding – Portsmouth, VA – Rachel & Tony – Second Shooting Adventures

This beautiful May afternoon in Portsmouth, VA was a little toasty to say the least. Regardless, it was a perfect Woman’s Club of Portsmouth Wedding =] Stephanie and I walked in to a room of giddy girls, just ready to get the day started. They sipped from their personalized wine glasses as they got primped and pampered. The Woman’s Club of Portsmouth was being decorated in all things purple with the most beautiful flowers and centerpieces. Rachel sat in her embroidered silk robe getting glammed up, Tony was across the hall with his guys figuring out how to fold a pocket square. All was going as planned. Their first look was so perfectly romantic. Those few moments right before the ceremony are SO nice to have! Quiet time,  just the two of you, to have a minute to take everything in. We ventured out to the small bridge behind the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth for a few portraits, and then made it back for a few bridal party shots. It was hot and humid, and this group handled it like pros! Probably the quickest bridal party portraits Stephanie and I have done this year! The ceremony was perfect. I will never get tired of hearing people in love exchange their vows in front of all of their friends and family. Listening to the officiant giving advice as to what love is to the newlyweds. The same advice serves as friendly little reminders for the rest of us. =] The DiCamillo’s sure know how to throw a good reception. The DJ kept everyone on the dance floor the ENTIRE TIME. Seriously, these guys literally partied from the first song to the last. Full dance floor ALL night! Everything about Rachel & Tony’s Woman’s Club of Portsmouth Wedding was perfect. Right down to their bubble exit (which is probably a new favorite!)

Tony’s gifts were perfect. Rachel gave him handwritten notes, tequila, and a new pair of shades…complete with the band to keep them on his head. Apparently he has lost a pair on a boat, so Rachel was planning ahead =]


Oh those handwritten notes get me every time! Rachel was in love with the watch Tony gifted her.

Oh, Woman’s Club of Portsmouth….I love you! SUCH a beautiful venue!
